July Housing Market Snapshot: Paulding County
The Paulding County housing market remained active in July, with closed sales continuing to outpace last year even as activity eased slightly from June. Home prices remained above July 2025 levels, while inventory continued to edge higher. At the same time, fewer new listings entered the market, slowing the pace of new supply heading into late summer.
Demand
Buyer activity remained stronger than last summer, with 248 homes sold, a 14.3% increase year over year, despite a 2.8% decline from June. The market welcomed 385 new listings, down 16.1% from July 2025 and 12.5% month over month, indicating fewer new properties came to market during July.
Price
Home prices remained slightly above last year’s levels. The median sales price reached $369,000, up 1.1% year over year, while the average sales price increased 1.3% to $385,500. Both measures declined from June, following the stronger price gains recorded during the previous month.
Supply
Inventory continued its gradual expansion, with 965 active listings, up 4.1% from last year and 1.5% from June. Months of inventory remained relatively steady at 4.43 months, continuing to provide buyers with more options. Homes spent an average of 29 days on the market, down 6.5% from July 2025 but up slightly from June.
