Membership FAQS
What are the annual membership fees?
I see that the dues are pro-rated monthly, but there is only a week or so left in the month.
Do I still have to pay dues for that month, or may I simply submit the pro-rated payment for the next month’s dues?
How do I renew my membership?
The Paulding REALTORS® membership year runs from January 1 through December 31. Renewal notices are emailed approximately one month before your renewal date, with additional reminder emails sent throughout the renewal period.
Membership may be renewed by mailing payment to the Association office or paying online. Additional information can be found on our renewal page. What training is required for REALTORS®?
After new member training is completed, primary REALTOR® members must complete Code of Ethics and Fair Housing training within three-year cycles to maintain REALTOR® membership with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
If my broker is not a member of the Paulding REALTORS®, may I still join?
Agents must hold their primary membership in a REALTOR® association where the company's principal or managing broker holds REALTOR® membership. Once an agent holds primary membership in a REALTOR® association, they may then join another REALTOR® association as a secondary member, regardless of whether their principal or managing broker is a member of the secondary association or not.
If my broker is not a member of any REALTOR® Association, may I still join?
If I hold my primary membership in another local REALTOR® association, may I join Paulding REALTORS® even though my broker is not a member of Paulding REALTORS®?
What does primary membership mean?
Primary membership is an accounting designation indicating the REALTOR® association through which you pay your National and State dues. Your primary association is responsible for maintaining your membership records, tracking required training and education, and managing your information with the state and national associations.
In simple terms, it serves as your “main” REALTOR® association.
