The Atlanta REALTORS® Political Action Committee Selects Candidates for the Fulton County Primary Election

May 3, 2024

On May 2nd ARA and ACBR Government Affairs Committee members interviewed candidates running for 3 seats on the Fulton County Commission. County Commission Districts 4, and 6 will be on the May 21, primary ballot. Since only one Democrat and one Republican filed to run for County Commission District 2, this election will be on the General Election ballot in November.

Candidates recommended for ARPAC support were selected based on their willingness to work with REALTORS® on important private property issues and their responses to real estate-related questions. In addition, the committee considered the candidate’s electability and attitude towards development, growth management, and government regulations.

The following candidates were recommended by the screening committee and approved by the PAC Board of Trustees.

  • Bob Ellis for County Commission District 2
  • Mo Ivory for County Commission District 4
  • Khadijah Abdur-Rahman for County Commission District 6

The primary election is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Advanced voting started Monday, April 29th, and will run through Friday, May 17th. Early voting times and locations for Fulton County can be found HERE.
