Dealing Skillfully with Emotions

Quantitative things are often used as measures of business success: earnings growth, equity accumulation, whether or not "we got a good deal”. And yet these important quantitative issues are often dependent on achieving success with life's qualitative aspects: gaining the trust of others, having confidence in our decision making processes, and the felt sense of satisfaction that comes from working well with team members. Both research and common sense point to the conclusion that it is our emotional intelligence, not our technical skills, that very often determines our business success. Participants in this program will leave with new insights about how to deal with emotions and with skills they can put to immediate use to help them achieve better outcomes, not only at work but also in their personal lives.
