Summary of Changes for the 2018 High Achievers Program

The Paulding Board of Directors recently approved changes for qualifications to the High Achievers recognition. These changes will go into effect for transactions taking place on or after January 1, 2018 and for recognition taking place at the 2019 Gala.

Application Deadline: The application for the 2018 High Achievers will be due on January 25, 2018 by 5:00 p.m. Starting this year, each application submitted must include all required items in order to be accepted. Applications that do not include all required items will not be considered.

Transactions: Lease transactions will no longer be allowed to be included for volume credit. The volume recognition will be based on sales transactions only.

Teams: Teams will now be separated into two types: Teams with a Team Leader and Teams with Team Partners. Additional licensed participants on the Team will now be referred to as Team Members.

The following definitions were adopted as clarification:

  • “Team Leader” shall be defined as the member of the team that is designated to receive all of the volume credit produced by the Team during the Qualifying Year.
    Teams with 3 or more members are required to designate a member as the Team Leader.
  • “Team Partners” shall be defined as those Teams with no designated member receiving all of the volume credit produced by the Team during the Qualifying Year.
  • “Team Members” shall be defined as those licensees affiliated on a Team with a Team Leader.

Minimum Team Volume Requirement: The minimum volume required for Team for recognition for High Achievers has been increased to $2,000,000 during the qualifying year.

Awards/Membership Category: Clarification was provided for each level, and an award was created for those that have qualified for 15 years.

Awards:

  • Phoenix – Presented to those members who have qualified for ten (10) total years.
  • Diamond Phoenix – Presented to those members who have qualified for fifteen (15) total years.
  • Emerald Phoenix – Presented to those members who have qualified for twenty (20) total years.
  • Platinum Phoenix – Presented to those members who have qualified for twenty-five (25) total years.
  • Recognition – Applicants total volume will be rounded down to the nearest $100,000 for all recognition purposes. ex. An applicant with total volume of $1,234,567.89 will be recognized as $1,200,000 or $1.2 million.

Membership Categories:

  • Member – For those members who have qualified for their first year.
  • Active Member – For those members who have qualified for their second through fourth year.
  • Life Member – For those members who have qualified for their fifth year.
  • Active Life Member – For those members who have qualified for their sixth through ninth years.
  • Phoenix – For those members who have qualified for their 10th year.
  • Active Phoenix – For those members who have qualified for their 11th through 14th year.
  • Diamond – For those members who have qualified for their 15th year.
  • Active Diamond Phoenix – For those members who have qualified for their 16th through 19th year.
  • Emerald – For those members who have qualified for their 20th year.
  • Active Emerald Phoenix – For those members who have qualified for their 21st through 24th year.
  • Platinum – For those members who have qualified for their 25th year.
  • Active Platinum Phoenix – For those members who have qualified for their 26th or greater year.

Team Qualifications:

1. Effective Date for Qualifying Transactions:

  • For Team Leaders – Only transactions closed after the effective date of membership in a Board of REALTORS® will count as High Achievers volume.
  • For Team Partners – Only transactions closed after the effective date of membership in a Board of REALTORS® for both partners will count as High Achievers volume.

2. Membership: Team Leaders and Team Partners must be members of the Paulding Board of REALTORS® during the qualifying year. All Team Members must also hold active REALTOR® membership in a Board of REALTORS®.
3. Membership Fees: The membership dues payments for Team Leader, Team Partners, Team Members and applicant’s Designated REALTOR® must be paid in full and a signed dues certification letter must be on file at the Board office in order for the application to be considered.
