There are 2 training requirements for new REALTOR® Members of the Paulding Board of REALTORS®.
PBOR | New Member Orientation
2020 Sessions Coming Soon
This New Member orientation session is required for all new Paulding REALTOR® type members and serves as an introduction to the Paulding Board. This 1.5 hr class covers key membership benefits and useful resources! Additionally, all new Paulding Board of REALTORS® members must also complete a qualified New Member Code of Ethics course within the first 6 months of joining the Board.
Both training courses must be completed within six months upon completion of the application.
These two classes must be completed separately.
- Paulding of REALTORS® Local Orientation
This program is approximately 1 hour in length and is offered every few months. Check the homepage news feed for upcoming Orientations being held.
- New Member Code of Ethics Training Online
This program can be completed online or in-class.
The online program offered through NAR can be accessed by clicking here. Login information for the NAR website: Upon applying for membership, you were assigned a National REALTOR Database System ID. This is commonly referred to as your NRDS ID. You will need this in order to create an account and register for the online course. Please note that this option does not provide you with continuing education credit.
The in-class program is approximately 3 hours in length and does provide you with CE credit in addition to fulfilling the new membership responsibilities. For a list of dates and to register, please click here.
Already a REALTOR®?
If you are currently a member of another REALTOR® Association or have held membership in the past with the Paulding Board of REALTORS® and you have already attended a New Member Code of Ethics course, then you do not need to attend the New Member Code of Ethics course again nor the Local PBOR Training.
You must submit proof of your New Member Code of Ethics completion from your previous or current REALTOR® association in order to bypass attendance at either of these training sessions. They may email proof directly to the Membership Department, email@example.com.
